    Corporate Sales Representative (Boise/Las Vegas)

    Remote office sales positions are available in both Boise and Las Vegas for service out of Energy Management Corporation's Salt Lake City office. These positions would primarily represent our custom VFD and motor control systems as well as other commercial and industrial electrical products and services.

    The position requires exceptional sales skills including strategic account planning and relationship development. Applicants should have experience calling on consulting engineers, and commercial and industrial customers in specifying, selling and applying VFD systems and related power quality equipment.

    The successful individuals must be able to be proactive in developing new accounts in an assigned geographical territory. All activities and opportunities must be documented through coordination with the SLC inside support group using EMC's ACT contact management database. The outside sales representative is responsible to initiate follow-up actions to convert opportunities into sales. Prior experience and sales success in the electrical industry is required.

    Compensation is based on salary plus a generous commission program.

    Electrical Engineer / Designer (SLC)

    Desired skills include electrical and mechanical abilities to work on projects, designing, programming and supporting the manufacture and start-up of industrial control panels and systems. Five years of related electrical experience required. Any direct experience with VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, industrial C programming, UL508A requirements, NEC or other industrial motor control design and application experience desired. Experience with AutoCad and AutoCad Electrical preferred.

    Responsibilities could include electrical design and schematic development, electrical enclosure design and layout, submittal process, project management, assembly and fabrication supervision, quality control, programming, documentation, field start-up etc. The individual would work with our sales, engineering and production staff to complete projects on schedule at competitive costs.


    Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the motor repair or related industry is a plus, but not required.

    Electrical Technician / Panel Builder (SLC)

    This important position will require a hard working individual who can be a part of our team.

    Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is dedicated to preventing problems and creating solutions for our customer's electrical needs. Our expert team and our three divisions are what put us above our competition. CW Silver is our repair and service division, Motor Drives International is our manufacturing division, and Bob Green Electrical is our sales division. We pride ourselves on our strong team mentality.

    EMC has a full-time position open in our Motor Drives International division. Must be familiar with all phases of panel building (ie. drilling, mounting, and wire motor controls). Experience with VFD’s, PLC’s, and DC Drives is a plus. Also, any AutoCad or electrical design experience is helpful.

    Electric Motor/Transformer Repair Technician (SLC)

    The technician will need five years experience in heavy manufacturing and maintenance repair and be an analytical thinker to solve problems. EMC will train the specific skill of motor/transformer repair. 2-5 years experience with heavy mechanical repair, welding, and tranformers required. EMC will train the specific skills needed.


    Required skills:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Solid analytical thinker.
  • Cast and dry-type transformer experience a must.
  • Welding/brazing/soldering copper and aluminum.
  • Knowledge of coils and insulation.
  • Experience with high voltage.

  • Job Requirements:

  • Good organizational skills. Able to work well unsupervised.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Able to pass a respirator fit test.
  • Able to lift 75-100 pounds.
  • Commercial drivers license a plus.
  • High School education required.

    Generator Bid Specialist (SLC)

    This position bids for companies in need of generators and sells generators. A strong attention to detail is needed when coordinating projects when installing generators.


    Job Responsibilities:

  • Bid-specification coordination
  • Generator sales
  • Generator marketing coordinating
  • Generate quotes for each job we bid
  • Take incoming generator sales calls
  • Find projects to bid on contractors’ sites
  • Acquire needed project documentation including mechanical schedules, electrical specifications, and project reports
  • Organize tracking reports about who where we bid
  • Seminar coordinating

  • Skills Required:

  • Experience with generators preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Motivated individual
  • Willing to attend seminars and continual training
  • Good organizational skills
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Able to work well unsupervised
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Willingness to be trained in company programs

    EMC is interested in individuals with drives and VFD system experience to represent our Motor Drive International Division in markets out side of our existing sales coverage. Individuals considered must have extensive experience with consulting engineers, and commercial and industrial customers in specifying, selling and applying VFD systems and related control and power quality equipment.

    Commissioned independent reps with related experience will be considered.
